SKU Code: G10/100UKG/D
The MWC 100m / 330ft water-resistant G10 models in stainless steel are among our longest-established G10/GS series watches, variants of which have been used by the military since the mid-1980s. This updated model has been assigned the NATO Stock Number NSN: 6645-99-472-3228 by the Ministry of Defence Codification Agency, confirming it as the most up-to-date approved specification (see the attached image of the MOD codification sheet).
Key Features:
- Scratch-Resistant Sapphire Crystal: Offers superior durability and clarity.
- 10-Year Battery Life: Powered by the Swiss Ronda 715li movement, significantly reducing maintenance requirements.
- Enhanced Water Resistance: The screw-down crown and screw caseback ensure the watch is water-resistant up to 100m/330ft.
- Non-Reflective Sandblasted Case: The light sandblasted finish, achieved by blasting the case with tiny glass or sand particles, gives it a matte appearance and minimizes light reflection.
- Covert Design and Durability: Developed under contract specifications requiring a covert design, screw caseback, sapphire crystal, and screw-down crown, resulting in a low-maintenance and highly durable timepiece.
Additional Information:
- Strap: Supplied with a current issue heat-welded grey NATO webbing strap in Admiralty Grey.
- Case Back: Bears various contract markings in addition to the unique serial number.
Important Note: We frequently receive inquiries about which G10 model we supply for use by the British Army. For clarification, this is the model currently issued, the only difference being that UK procurement contracts for the MoD currently specify the non-date window variant.

Benefits of Sapphire Crystal:
Sapphire crystal is the best material for watch crystals due to its exceptional strength and resistance to shattering and scratching. These qualities make it ideal for military and security personnel, police officers, and those with active outdoor lifestyles, who comprise over 70% of our customers.
When accidents involving watches result in cracked crystals, over 90% involve mineral glass crystals. Even with hardened mineral crystals, they do not match sapphire's durability in adverse conditions. Sapphire crystals undergo heat treatment to remove internal stresses, enhancing strength, and are then crafted into watch crystals with two layers of anti-reflective coating. Interestingly, sapphire crystal is now standard on the latest iPhones. While sapphire crystal is more costly, it is typically fitted only to higher-end watches due to its superior quality.
