Sports Attack Total Attack Volleyball Serving Machine

The platform features a 16-gauge diamond plate with a non-slip surface, ensuring footing and safety during use. The Total Attack machine's frame is constructed from powder-coated, rust-resistant steel tubing, offering extreme durability. Its extra-wide base provides exceptional stability. As the throwing head is raised, it moves toward the center of gravity, further enhancing stability. Three powerful variable-speed motors drive the indestructible 4' wide ball-throwing wheels. This allows for rapid recovery and quick repetition, eliminating the waiting time associated with air-powered launch systems.

Features

  • Precise Repetition Training: The Total , a product of collaboration with top international and collegiate coaches, is a testament to precision. Its three-wheeled design delivers powerful, sidespin shots with unparalleled accuracy, perfect for daily practice. This precision ensures thousands of reps for serve receiving, digging, and spiking, eliminating wasted time on errant hits and instilling confidence in the player's performance.
  • Serving: The Total Attack is a versatile powerhouse that speeds up to 90 MPH. It mimics the power of the best jump serves, delivering breaking sidespin serves at professional speeds, top spins, and floaters. This versatility makes it unmatched for high-level serve receive repetition, empowering players to train for a variety of serve types. The three-wheel design allows for quick changes in spin and speed, reducing receiver anticipation and offering the highest serve release point.
  • Spiking: The Total Attack is designed to bring the game to you, delivering balls at realistic angles and top speeds that simulate actual game conditions. This realism enhances every digging drill, making players feel fully immersed in their training and better prepared for the game.
  • Setting: The machine provides rapid reps at varying intervals, perfect for all setting drills. It delivers accurate and consistent soft sets with no spin at any angle and height. Unlike some competitive units, it releases the ball from a realistic setting height, not floor level. The locating pins on the shaft allow instant positioning of the throwing head to the setting position.
  • Ball Wear: Ball wear is minimal due to the three 4″ wide, soft white polyurethane ball gripping surfaces and the contoured shape of the throwing wheels, which evenly distribute contact forces, eliminating high wear points. With three-wheel surfaces, ball wear is reduced more than any other wheel machine on the market.
  • Horizontal Movement: The horizontal throwing head movement allows coaches to direct ball delivery in any direction, working straight on, in the seams, or to an individual's weak side, extending any player's range. The three-wheel design changes the ball delivery plane by adjusting wheel speed dials.
  • Vertical Movement: Combined with horizontal movement, the coach can throw the ball to any point on the court, creating game-like situations and challenging players to perform under progressively more difficult circumstances.
  • Portability: Extra-large rolling wheels ensure effortless, safe mobility to any court location. The extra-wide base provides stability for powerful and breaking serves.
  • Storage: The Total Attack fits through any standard three-door for secure storage. The throwing head can be removed, and the frame can be in the gym. A separately available machine cover protects and secures the machine during storage.
  • Ease of Use: The Total Attack can be safely operated by any assistant coach, player, student, or parent, freeing the coach to be near the receiving players to teach proper mechanics effectively. No more yelling across the court. It also allows the coach to improve the quality of standard drills and create new machine drills for every game phase.

FUNCTIONS WHEEL-PROPELLED MACHINESAIR-PROPELLED MACHINES
Machine PerformanceThrowing head pivots easily delivering ball to any location on the court. Spin, speed and tempo can be adjusted instantly between throws.More difficult to place ball, must move the entire machine to introduce variation. Air propelled arm will not impart a spin on ball.
Release PointRealistic – elevates from 5′ to well above men’s net, over 9′ 3″.Pivots up to only 6′ (well below both men’s and women’s net height).
SpeedSets to 80 MPH jump serves & everything in between. (Higher release point enables top speeds as ball trajectory does not have to arc to clear net height.)Sets, tosses and claims “hard” spikes and serves, but no actual speed is stated. (Lower release point requires ball to arc in order to clear net height.)
DurabilityFew moving parts, heavy duty welded powder-coated steel frame.Complicated air pressure system installed in metal frame encapsulated in a plastic shell.
Feeding and TempoCoach can control tempo by feeding continuously or delays. No recovery time is ever needed. The speed, angle and spin are instantly controlled by the coach with each serve, set or spike.Air-propelled machine can be set to toss up to 1100 balls per hour (one ball every 3.28 seconds). However, recovery time is necessary after rapid fire of 8–10 balls.
Ball Use and WearNew design includes specialized throwing wheels that are shaped to grip the ball with even pressure across a wide 4″ span to increase velocity and minimize ball wear.No specific ball required.
DiggingWith the Attack & Attack II the ball is released from above the net, a true downward trajectory at high speeds, providing unmatched spike simulation with realistic reaction time for the ultimate digging drills. Not capable of delivering a true spike over a regulation net. Spike drill must be performed from same side of net, below net height, severely limiting ball travel distance & player’s reaction time.
ServingUp to jump serve speeds and release point. Breaking top spins and floaters. No spin limits serve to a simple floater. Low release point requires an arc to clear net & slower speeds to keep in court.
VisibilityCan see the ball from feed to delivery, providing a true sense of timing. True visual timing has to be based on ball movement.Player’s timing must be based on a small light seen from across the court and an unrealistic “buzzer.”
